I began riding at seven years old in Minnesota at a small farm down the street from where I lived. Shortly after, I moved to Bainbridge Island, Washington and continued to ride at Blue Heron Farm with Ruel Johnson and Tara Devlin. In 2018, I made the switch to Thumbs Up Farm with John Turner, Jack Hammond, and Quinn Partridge to continue my riding and advance into the 3’6” equitation. I am not as financially lucky as many of those I compete against, so I take showing opportunities as they come and I have been blessed with a work ethic I am proud of, enjoying long days working at the barn. I would love nothing more than to ride and train professionally and I will do anything that will help me achieve my goal. Being only 5’1”, I have a soft spot for green ponies but any opportunity to ride something new or learn something new I am grateful for. I believe in working hard for where you want to go, being grateful for those kind enough to help you and that the horse always comes first, no matter what.

“Developing a good work ethic is key. Apply yourself at whatever you do, whether you're a janitor or taking your first summer job, because that work ethic will be reflected in everything you do in life.”
